I find that symphony is a huge part of my newspaper class because each little detail of the paper has to be perfect in order to create a whole paper that is good looking and has good content. Much of the time people do not realize the little details that are put into a paper. We have to make sure that everything is perfectly aligned. Each different thing in the paper has a certain font and a certain formatting to it. Also, the date and page numbers have to be exact and if one word is spelled wrong, it is the end of the world. We have to put our paper through edits about 4 times before we can actually publish it, and the page and your paper is checked one last time before it gets sent to the printer. There is definitely no need to improve in my newspaper class in the direction of symphony.
When I read this chapter it made me start to think more of the little details in life instead of more of the big picture. I thought that that was weird because it was supposed to create more of a want to see the big picture and maybe even the negative space.
